| Ahhhh Bahgtru, one of my personal favorites.
Bahgtru is a low-level hero which I often choose to keep
the full duration of the game. Why you ask? His thrown
attribute is extremely valuable since it practically
gives him two attacks per turn instead of just one.
Since I often choose the wizard skill Artificer, I can
also create a +6 attack axe for Bahgtru which will raise his
thrown attack to about 20! At Demi-God level, after I have
given him an enchanted axe and cast magical enchantments on
him, he often has a thrown attack of 20 followed by a melee
attack of 35! KA-POW! Watch him take out a Great Drake in
a single blow! Also, since he is so cheap and easy to get at
the start of the game, he is often a Demi-God before I can fill
all of my hero slots!
What random picks you should be praying for with Bahgtru:
Agility,
Blade Master, (if you're really lucky!)
Constitution, or
Might
If he winds up with anything other than these, I would think twice about hiring him....
